Edition: Paperback Pages: 272 Publish Date: August 26, 2014 Publisher: Swoon Reads Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Series: No Goodreads Rating: 3.71 (8,282 ratings) I so much wanted to enjoy this book. I heard so much about it and when it was on bookoutlet for like $3 I just had to get it, I mean look at the cover! It's gorgeous. But I think it was the point-of-views that I didn't enjoy and since that was the main point of this story to view a couple falling in love from so many other peoples views, including a squirrel and a bench. I enjoy a love story told by one or both of the main characters so you can hear their thoughts, it's just not the same for outsiders points of views. Thought it was a cute idea and how so many people knew those two were meant to be together was adorable, but I just didn't enjoy it and was just bored waiting for things to actually move forward.
Edition: ebook Pages: 320 Publish Date: March 10, 2015 Publisher: Atria Books Genre: New Adult Romance Series: No Goodreads Rating: 4.37 (9,045 ratings) All I kept thinking while reading this was how much it reminded me of Nicholas Sparks books. Which just makes it even better than just knowing it's Colleen Hoover! I think this one has surpassed even Maybe Someday and Ugly Love. The characters were so meant to be and it was beautiful how they were connected, it was like Hopeless all over again with that amazing history. I always feel so much passion towards all of her characters and I have to say I never felt so much hatred for a character as I did for Trey and Lydia, as well as the love for characters like Adam. If you love Colleen Hoover you shouldn't even question picking this one up, it's absolutely perfect.

The Day before follows 2 teenagers, Amber, the 15 year old who just found out she was switched at birth, after the death of the other families daughter lead to the discovery they pursued Amber despite her lack of interest she's not scheduled to live with this strange family tomorrow. Cade, made the possibly life threatening decision to donate part of his liver to save his father from end stage liver disease. Both are looking to have the best day before these life changing events. And when they both meet they manage to help eachother through these changes while they of course fall in love. I loved this short yet sweet book, both characters were so beautiful and were so perfect together. 4.5 stars, I just wanted more!
Edition: ebook Pages: 357 Publish Date: October 2, 2012 Publisher: Harper Collins Genre: Young Adult Dystopian Fantasy Series: Shatter Me Goodreads Rating: 4.04 (123,736 ratings) I honestly did not expect to like this book. It's one of those that's so hyped up, but I guess since I had so much doubt the hype didn't impede my judgement. I loved every minute of it. The characters development was beautiful, and you couldn't help but love every single moment with each character, especially the love triangle between Juliette, Adam, and Warner. I can see why everyone always says Warner is the evil character they couldn't help but love. I cannot wait to continue with this trilogy! Overall a 4.5 stars, mainly for the lack of any cliffhanger or driving force to the end that really makes me want to read the second book immediately.
Edition: ebook Pages: 480 Publish Date: May 7, 2013 Publisher: Putnam Juvenile Genre: Young Adult Dystopian Series: The 5th Wave Goodreads Rating: 4.16 (90,864 ratings) I'm one of those people who typically does not enjoy books that are super hyped, but this is on that I truly loved! I first heard about the 5th wave from The Bookables on YouTube. And after reading the synopsis I really did not think I'd like it! honestly I don't know how I started reading it when I had such low hopes of enjoying it. But I freakin' loved it! Though I am still busy I am completely out of my reading slump thanks to this book. The writing was incredible (though they could have done a better job of informing you of who was narrating, there were many points where I was totally lost), the characters were to die for and though I have heard iffy things about The Infinite Sea I just have to read it! Can't leave things on that kind of cliff hanger!
