Hurray! Gotta love a happy ending :)
These two were so perfect for eachother it was ridiculous, they had there moments and with being miles apart it was hard but it was totally an "absence makes the heart grow fonder" kind of romance. And when they finally got together it was perfect, sexy, and so well done. You know on TV shows where they get the OTP together and it ruins everything? This was the exact opposite, all the wait came to a glorious end.

So I'm going to start off by saying that I do not have an addictive personality. Nor am I a person to dwell on the past and what cannot be changed. 
So a lot of this book, mainly the aspect of drugs and addiction just annoyed me. I know that's horrible because this is a huge issue for many people but I have never been able to grasp the concept that if you want to quit something for some people it can be a lot harder than it is for me. 
I related well to Nova's story of losing someone she loved and never understanding why (though she had the suicide video the whole time...) being left behind with all those questions can definitely take it's toll on you.
Though I loooved the first book and am truly looking forward to the next book with that ending with Quinton in Rehab, but overall I did not enjoy this book as much as the first.

I'm honestly unsure how I feel about this one. We got a lot more info about the rebellion, all the characters and their powers, as well as some family relations, and what will tear our perfect pair of Adam and Juliette apart.
I know everyone says that Warner is the evil character they can't help but love, but I can't stand him to be honest. And now with all these revelations, Juliette's love for Warner is just so messed up. Adam is the perfect good guy who she's meant to be with, while Warner is the bad boy who will destroy everything in the end.
Over all I need a break from this series, felt Juliette was getting a little annoying, plus I need some good contemporary romance rather than dystopian crazyness.

LOOOVED IT.
Two damaged characters dealing with past deaths, guild over those they've lost, handling the 'what ifs' in life. 
Though it ended well for Nova after she hit her rock bottom, Quinton is falling fast and hard into drugs and it's Nova he needs to get him out.
Cannot wait for the next boook!

Ah contemporaries. I love them, but I'm also a romance junkie. Whether it's any genre, sci-fi, dystopian, fantasy, etc, it has to have a good romance. And this one fell flat. Aside from the lack of oowie goowie lovie dovey stuff, the book definitely got my attention. At first it was the cover, then the character Mary Iris "MIM" Malone. And especially the amazing writing by David Arnold. People said it was alike to John Green, but I did not like John Green's books or writing style, this writing made the book for me. 

Officially I'm only giving this book 3.5 stars, it'll be a 3 on goodreads only because I'm not willing to label it a 4, it is a solid 3.5 for having all the criteria of road trips, great characters, sarcasm, but lost out on the romance part and an ending that left you high and dry. I just wanted more. Maybe a second part? Who knows.

Okay, so I'm going to start off by saying that I am a crime show junkie, and I never even looked at the synopsis of this book until after I started reading it and found out she's an undercover cop! 
This book was down right amazing! I just wanted more to the happy ending. But everything they went through, all the lies and secrets was so intense and if I dare say better than the first Burying Water book. I cannot wait for the third book to come out, I just hope we get some pieces of Rain and Luke's life like we did for Water and Jesse in this book.
I'll be honest I'm rarely a fan of spin offs, but this one was perfect and entirely new. I loved every second of it.
