Jude and Lucy my god they are utter destruction and perfection. Both with ridiculous tempers and trusting and control issues they are on this constant roller coaster of either total bliss or complete ruin.
This book goes as expected...things fall off the rails. With the help of some bitchy college cheerleader with her eyes set on Jude. After a staged event where Lucy walks in on a drunken and passed out Jude (after their previous arguement Lucy came to make up) when The Bitch walks out of the shower, insinuating and not denying what happened.
There are too many ups and downs to even count but after trying to say a final goodbye at Jude's game he ends up getting hit really bad. After their first time being in a hospital bed Lucy leaves him as he sleeps to catch her plane and still work through her problems through time with her family. Even after he chased after her she still left him there.
With support and insite from her mom and grandma she gets on the first plane out to get to his game, with the help of one of the guys she knows at the field she gets hold of a microphone and poors her heart out to him and everyone there. Lucy is momentarily thrown as she gets through the speech and he still hasn't come on to the field, but we all know Jude can never leave Lucy. And he has something to ask, something he's wanted to ask for a long time. As she meets him at the 50 yard line he gets down on one knee and proposes the forever they've been destined for.

I loved the first book and I loved this one too. I'm nervous for what will come in the 3rd installment but with this much love and passion I only hope for a 3rd and final happy ending.

As I said before, if you love good girl falls for bad boy, then you will love these books.

“Love isn’t only love, sweetheart. It’s hard work, and trust, and tears, with even a few glimpses of devastation. But at the end of each day, if you can still look at the person at your side and can’t imagine anyone else you’d rather have there, the pain and heartache and the ups and downs of love are worth it.”
