Holy wow.
This book was a total cover buy initially, and now that I've read it I can honestly say go right ahead and judge this book by it's amazing cover.
The story follows Alex, a senior who was kicked out of her old school for spray painting the gym floor, and is now at the only other school in her tiny middle-of-nowhere town trying to accomplish the same this as she had failed to do at her last school. Hiding her paranoid schizophrenia.
With her trusty camera and constant perimeter checks she trys to navigate her way through the already terrifying highschool experience while trying to keep her secret a secret.
The last thing she expected was the normal life she wanted. Clubs, friends, homework, and even a boy!
This book takes a lot of twists and turns as you try to decipher what is real and what isn't with Alex. You'll be laughing a lot, crying too, but overall you'll leave this book loving every character, and remembering what was real, or better yet, who was real.
