This was like a sexy version of Cinderella.
Araya was a talented dancer accepted to Juliard at the age of 15, on the ride home from a concert with her Mom they were in a car accident that left Araya blind and her Mother passed.
4 years later Araya is living with her Mothers sister who she barely knew growing up, as well as her drunk husband Carl.
Over the four years she's lived with then she was basically their live-in blind maid. They brainwashed her into believing she had no chance int he outside world, giving her no classes or opportunity to learn to live with being blind.
Things change after Araya takes a trip to a near by park that she meets Ryland Dare, a charming shadow to her, a blackmailing option for her Aunt and Uncle.
Ryland Dare, the soon-to-be partner in his "father's" company, middle child between an older out of control brother and his younger sister Cara aka "Careless". After being stood up by the mysterious girl at the park he is surprised to find that same mystery girl in his house. Careless is Araya's new tutor, and when she tells Ryland to stay away that only provokes him further, even when he finds out she's blind he becomes even more drawn to her.

He's her knight in shining armor, always saving her, and she's his innocent hummingbird. Never planning or expecting that they would fall in love, they do. and when it finally becomes clear, Ryland's family steps in to destroy it. Revealing the blackmailing plan set up by Araya's Aunt with the help of Careless. The plan to take them for millions to hide a fake pregnancy. Jonathan Dare (Ryland's Father) makes a new deal in an attempt to trap his son in his company and keep Araya away from him. He offers Araya a full education at the school for the blind. Originally going to turn him down, he offers the plan to Araya's Aunt along with $800,000 to send Araya away ASAP.
Araya get's away with the help of Ryland's brother, but when Ryland reveals his plan to get an apartment for them she's so happy, until he suggests him leaving school and getting a job to take care of her.
The last thing she wants to be is a burden to the man she loves. Making her own choice she leaves Ryland to attend the school his father payed for.
AND THAT'S HOW THIS BOOK ENDS?!

Ya WARNING this is a DUELOGY
Contemporary Romances are supposed to be stand alones or companions. Not duelogies.
I hate that now I'm committed to 2 books and I'm nervous to see what will happen after that sneak preview "I always get what I want", and the fact that she's still at this school and Ryland is working for his father.
