A lot less drama and plenty of romance in this - partial - finale for Ella and Micha. There's another ending set after a few years from this book called 'Infinity and Always'.
In this ending, Ella and Micha get their happily ever after with a few bumps in the road as they plan for their wedding. Ella is contacted by her Mom's Mom's (her grandmother she never met) lawyer after she passed away, receiving a box of her mothers old things, including a journal where Ella's mother put pen to paper on what was going on in her mind.
Micha is happy to finally have a ring on Ella's finger, through everything he knew even in the darkest parts that they'd always be together, even with news of his dream singing career, a tour for 3 months only weeks after they get married.

Even with the past taking it's place in their present, Ella and Micha make it through together, get married, and begin their lives, Micha singing his heart to the women he loves, and Ella drawing everything that matters, Micha.

Though I love this ending, ones that leave you just imagining the amazing future they will have, I still need to read Infinite and Always, because Jessica Sorensen always has more to say for her amazing characters, and I want to read all about it.
