Review: Paper Towns by John Green

After reading The Fault in Our Stars my first John Green book I've only read one other, and by read I mean I got through about half of Looking for Alaska because I could not stand it. And now with this as my third John Green novel I'm not sure how much I like John Green's books. Even after the Movie for TFIOS it made me doubt if I actually liked the book....I'm probably the only one who feels this way but the only reason I got through this book is the humor and the fact that it was an audiobook so there wasn't much effort in "reading" it.

I really don't even know how to describe this book...so I'll just use the Goodreads Summary.

"Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows.

After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew."

Though the characters John Green creates are very fun and intriguing, the story was lacking in any sort of interest. It's obvious many people have enjoyed this book as it currently has a 4.08 average rating from over 220,000 ratings. But I will be part of the 21% that would not give this book any more than 3 stars.
I apologize to John Green because I will not be reading any more of his books.

only 2.5 stars (2 on goodreads.)
Thanks for Reading
