Review: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

The wait is over! I bought it, I read it, and I fell in love with another one of Colleen Hoover's books.
In this story you read from both POV's between Miles Archer and Tate Collins.
In Miles story you learn about his past, how 6 years prior to meeting Tate he had everything he could ever ask for. And after losing everything Miles gave up on love, he didn't want anything of the happiness that comes with love if he also got the ugly.
His attraction to Tate is undeniable, and when he explains to her that it will never be more than sex she agrees, somewhat hopeful that she may change his mind.
3 simple rules:
Miles' rules: Don't ask about my past, and don't expect a future
Tate's rule: Don't give me hope for a future.

And they break all those rules.

Firstly I'd like to say that I have read or heard of books like this before, even just the slight similarities when a girl falls for the bad boy and fixes him. I want everyone to forget about those other books. Because yes, they are corny typical stories, but THIS is no ordinary story. In Colleen Hoover's own review of her book she said that none of her other characters stories made her cry, not nearly as much as Miles did. His story is one that will break your heart as much as it did his, and the fact that he manages to find everything he lost with Tate and actually find the happiness that comes with love again is absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for reading!
